1st Summit Forum of Liaoning Higher Medical Institutions on Supply-Front Reform successfully held in CMU

On June 16th, the 1st Summit Forum of Liaoning Higher Medical Institutions on Supply-Front Reform, jointly hosted by Liaoning Higher Medical Institutions Alliance on Health Industry, CMU and Dalian Medical University (DMU), organized by the Institute of Oriental Humanistic Medicine and Office of Liaoning School-Enterprise Alliance of Health and Medical Industry, was successfully held in CMU.

 

The forum was divided into many discussion groups. For the group of party secretaries of medical universities, the discussion topic was "optimizing specialty structure and improving supply-demand matching for talent cultivation". The discussion was led by Party Secretary of DMU, Prof. Sun Zhaolin.

 

For the group of presidents of medical universities, the discussion topic was "improving faculty quality as a strengthened supply engine". The discussion was led by President of CMU, Prof. Wen Deliang.

 

For the group of hospital deans, the discussion topic was "reforming supply-front structural management of hospitals and improving service quality and capability". The discussion was led by Vice President of CMU and Dean of CMU's Affiliated Shengjing Hospital, Prof. Guo Qiyong.

 

For the group of enterprise representatives, the discussion topic was "creating the school-enterprise alliance and building a medium for supply-demand partnership". The discussion was led by Vice President of Neusoft Group, Mr. Xu Hongli.

 

With a variety of discussions and activities, the forum stood in line with the need of the province in developing medical institutions of higher education and boosting economy, and thus was highly praised by all attendants. Upon their suggestion, all participants agreed to have the forum held on a yearly basis to discuss relevant missions put forward by the provincial authorities, in the hope of deepening the supply-front reform of medical institutions of higher education.
